Privacy Policy

Everything you type into the Financial Checkup — expense figures, debt balances, APRs, payments and your selected goal — is held in your browser's sessionStorage for the current tab only. It is not transmitted to PDC, is not stored on any server, and is cleared when you close the tab or select Start Over. The Financial Action Plan PDF is generated inside your browser from those same values and is never uploaded.

Because the data stays on the device, anyone with access to that browser session could see it. Avoid using the tool on a shared or public device.

PDC collects personal information only when you deliberately submit it. Today that means:

• Email address, when you ask PDC to send you the Financial Improvement Dashboard download link
• Which resource you requested, and the page you requested it from
• The date and time of the request
• Whether you opted in to educational updates, and when
• Whether the delivery email was sent successfully
• Your name, email and message, if you contact us

Downloading the workbook directly does not require an email address. Financial Checkup entries stay inside your browser and are never attached to an email address or to these records. Marketing consent is separate and optional: selecting the future-update checkbox is not required to receive a download you asked for.

You can ask PDC to delete contact or consent information we hold by emailing hello@personaldebtconsolidation.com. Email-request and consent records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for delivery, consent records, legal compliance or handling deletion requests.

• We do not sell or share your financial inputs. There is nothing to sell: they never leave your browser.
• We do not sell your email address.
• We do not send your information to lenders.
• We do not run display advertising.
• We do not run analytics or load third-party tracking scripts at launch.

If PDC ever enables analytics, this policy will be updated in the same change and will name the provider before any script is loaded.

Recurring educational email is disabled at launch. If it is enabled later, every message will include an unsubscribe link and a valid postal address, and consent will remain optional and separate from receiving a resource you requested.

You can clear your checkup data at any time using the Clear My Checkup Data control, or by closing the tab. To ask what contact information we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email hello@personaldebtconsolidation.com.

PDC is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
