How PDC Makes Money
Last reviewed August 8, 2026
A financial-education site that recommends comparing costs should be transparent about its own.
Today
PDC is free to use. We do not charge visitors, sell financial-checkup inputs, or run display advertising. In the future PDC may earn a commission when a visitor uses a provider link. Any such relationship will be disclosed beside the link itself before you click it.
- PDC charges visitors nothing.
- PDC does not sell Financial Checkup inputs. They never leave your browser.
- PDC does not sell email addresses.
- PDC does not run display advertising.
- PDC is not currently compensated by any provider.
How it could change
The intended model is affiliate compensation: if a visitor uses a provider link and takes out a product, the provider may pay PDC a commission. That would not change what you pay. It would be disclosed beside the link before you click it, and it will only be turned on after a relationship is formally approved.
This policy is written in plain language to describe how PDC actually operates today. It has not been reviewed by an attorney. PDC intends to obtain professional legal and privacy review before significant traffic or any collection of personal stories.
