About PDC

PersonalDebtConsolidation.com is an independent, education-first financial-improvement site. Its purpose is to help someone organize their own numbers, compare their options, and decide what fits their situation.

Your Numbers. Your Options. Your Decision. reflects PDC's education-first approach: provide useful tools and clear comparisons before presenting any third-party financial option.

Why PDC starts with tools rather than offers

Many debt-consolidation websites lead quickly to an application. PDC starts with tools and comparisons so visitors can understand their numbers first: the checkup, the comparison checklist and the articles come first, and provider information appears after them, clearly labelled.

That ordering is deliberate. Someone who understands APR, term, fees and total repayment can evaluate any offer they are shown, including offers PDC never mentions.

What the Financial Checkup can and cannot do

The checkup can organize the figures you already have, add up possible monthly expense reductions, show the monthly cash-flow difference between your current payments and a proposed payment, and turn that into a written action plan and comparison checklist.

It cannot tell you whether a loan saves you money. Doing that requires the proposed APR, the fees and the term, and those come from a lender's written offer, not from an estimate. It also cannot check your credit, contact a lender, or account for your full financial situation.

Where the idea came from

PDC's founder, Sam, consolidated high-interest credit-card balances with a personal loan and documented what actually changed — including what did not improve. That experience is published as a founder case study, presented as one person's result rather than a typical outcome.

How PDC evaluates provider information

Provider figures live in one configuration file with a source URL and a last-verified date. If a figure cannot be verified against the provider's own official page, it is omitted rather than estimated. PDC does not describe a provider as best, trusted, guaranteed, preapproved or suitable for everyone.

How PDC may make money

PDC is free to use. We do not charge visitors, sell financial-checkup inputs, or run display advertising. In the future PDC may earn a commission when a visitor uses a provider link. Any such relationship will be disclosed beside the link itself before you click it.

What PDC does not claim

PDC does not hold financial licences, does not employ credentialed advisers, has won no awards and has no media recognition to report. It is a new, independently run education site. If that changes, it will be stated here with something verifiable behind it.
